    Key Responsibilities:
    Human Resources:
    – Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job description review, applicant screening, interviews, reference checks, and salary determination. Design and coordinate onboarding programs for new hires.
    – Employee Relations: Advise staff and supervisors on HR policies, resolve workplace conflicts, and ensure compliance with Zambian labor laws. Address grievances and disciplinary issues to mitigate litigation risks.
    – Compliance & Records: Maintain up-to-date employee records (electronic and physical), ensure confidentiality, and oversee compliance with labor regulations. Draft and process employment contracts, technical service agreements (TSAs), and memoranda of understanding (MoUs).
    – Payroll & Benefits: Prepare payroll, administer staff benefits (e.g., medical insurance), and manage terminal calculations for end-of-contract payments.
    – Performance Management: Support the implementation of appraisal systems, track completion, and provide feedback to department heads.
    – Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and organize training programs to enhance employee performance.
    Qualifications and Experience:
    – Membership with the Zambia Institute of Human Resources (ZIHR)
    – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
    – 5 years relevant experience
    – In-depth knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices.
    – Proficiency in HR software (e.g., SAP HR, Oracle HCM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    – Strong organizational, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
    – High integrity, cultural sensitivity, and ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
    Preferred:
    – Some proficiency in Mandarin (to liaise with Chinese stakeholders).

    The Role:
    The Construction Manager will oversee the construction of specific projects by the company as well as running project specific design, meetings with the engineering team and project management meetings on behalf of the company with sub-contractors and clients as may be required.
    Key activities and responsibilities:
    Work in conjunction with the Lead Project Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Contracts and Engineering teams to perform the following but not limited to:
    – Internal and external reporting and meetings on project progress.
    – Other responsibilities for project delivery including Project Programme management throughout all periods of the project.

    – Awareness of Zambian and International standards in terms of operation and regulatory.
    – Familiarity with Construction, education and Medical Industries is an added advantage.

    -Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with group policies.
    – Managing debtors and creditors to ensure sufficient cash flow is always available for operations.
    – Cash Flow Projections/ Cash Management – production of weekly cash-flow projections, ensuring sufficient cash is on hand for all operational requirements.
    – General Accounting Activities: to help oversee the general accounting practices required by the Company, and to this end, ensure the daily maintenance of an accurate accounting filing system.

    Minimum Requirements
    – ACCA / CIMA / CA Zambia/ Degree holder and must be a member of ZICA
    – Minimum of 3-5 years preferably with experience in Construction, Education and Medical Industries
    – Experience with tax filing and compliance in above industries
    – IT knowledge: excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and conversant with accounting applications

    Key Responsibilities
    Under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Procurement Advisor, the Temporal Procurement Officer’s key responsibilities will include:

    Supervise the procurement interns in the day-to-day management and administration of Pact consultant documentation
    Ensure that consultant deliverables and invoices are submitted to finance for payment on time
    Ensure fully signed contracts, contract amendments and any other relevant documentation related to the consultants are properly organized and filed on SharePoint.
    Maintain a register for all documents/samples/tender or bids received at all times.
    Make reservations for both accommodation and conference facilities.
    Liaise with finance department on all hotel bills which need to be processed for payment.
    Ensure all invoices received are logged in the invoice tracker in readiness for payment.
    Prepare all documentation pertaining to invoices received and submit complete documentation to finance for payment.
    Maintain and update RFQ/RFP trackers indicating status.
    Maintain a comprehensive e-filing system for Purchase orders, ZRA LPOs and scanned summaries, customs documents.
    Assist the Procurement Officer with other procurements, analyzing them and ensure complete procurement documentation is processed according to policy and established procedures.Maintain the ZRA LPO tracking sheet and make sure it is updated on a weekly basis.
    Assist in obtaining quotations, compiling, and analysing cost information and assist in the selection of vendors, including preferred vendors.
    Always maintain an up-to-date procurement tracker for easy reference by all departments.
    Communicate and report all challenges to the Senior Procurement Advisor for resolution.
    Maintain a filing system for all Zambia Integrated Health Project contracts, service level agreement and Bridger Insights file for all vendors

    Qualifications

    Advanced Diploma /Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing & Supply or equivalent.
    Must be a member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply
    Skills and Experience
    Minimum 2 years’ experience as Procurement officer
    Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations related to contracts and cooperative
    agreements is an advantage.
    Knowledge of procurement of consultant services is an advantage.
    Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
    Understanding of local contract and procurement law
    Proven attention to details.
    Experience using computers and software at work and proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel is essential.

    A vacancy exists at Chipata WPA in Eastern Province for a Logistics Officer.
    Position Purpose
    Coordination and supervision of drivers; Plan scheduled motor vehicle maintenance, service and repairs. Ensure that all drivers and staff authorized to drive LWI vehicles are licensed and qualified. Maintain an up-to-date vehicle inventory and prepare monthly vehicle usage reports, including repair and maintenance, fuel and inventory status reports.
    Roles and responsibilities
    ·       Facilitate the Registration of Motor Vehicles, renewal of Road Licenses and Fitness.

    Maintain the Vehicle Database for monitoring purposes for the WPA.
    Produce monthly summary of vehicle usage reports (All Vehicles).
    Scheduling & Routing of vehicles & drivers to ensure that members of staff needing transport are facilitated to carry out their various assignments.
    Manage airport assignments for LWI staff and high-profile visitors visiting the WPA.
    Facilitate healthy functioning and timely service of all vehicles including rented ones, if any, ensuring that all repairs carried out meet the required standards to minimize accidents and breakdowns
    Ensure that comprehensive Insurance for all Motor vehicles/bikes is done, and insurance claims are effected immediately after the accident has occurred.
    Be flexible and available to provide assistance in case of accidents or breakdowns and to effect emergency repairs by ensuring that there is adequate security for LWI vehicles and assisting with police enquiries when necessary and providing emergency transportation if needed.
    Ensure that appropriate procedures and control on the issuance of fuel are made and followed
    Ensure vehicle logbooks are available, maintained and always updated
    Prepare comparative analysis reports to ensure that fuel drawn on all Vehicles is put to the intended purpose
    Work in liaison with procurement in ensuring that costs related to maintenance and servicing of vehicles are processed in good time.
    Assist in ensuring that the necessary measures are in place to ensure security and safety for high profile visitors and that security standards and procedures are strictly adhered to.
    Any other duties as maybe assigned by supervisor.

    Education/Experience

    Diploma in Transport & Logistics or related field.
    At least 2 years’ fleet management experience, and an un-restricted valid driver’s license  a must (Class C or above).
    Automotive Technician Certificate, a must.
    Experience in the non-profit sector and in fuel analysis.
