    Job Purpose

    To manage the execution of high-impact program’s projects within a multi-discipline environment and ensure that projects are executed within schedule, time scope, and budget.

    Key Performance Areas:

    Execution of dedicated projects in adherence to project plans, budgets and schedules.
    Perform change request management, project tracking and document control activities.
    Develop project scope, plan, deliverables, budget and milestones.
    Develop project reports for management and clients.
    Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations.
    Prepare necessary presentations and updates as required.
    Provide inputs and support in the preparation of all applicable contracts in accordance with the supply chain management and legal process.
    Review contracts when required and issue amendments when applicable.
    Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
    Make sure that client’s needs are met as projects evolve.
    Oversee project procurement management.
    Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
    Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
    Work with the Technical lead to eliminate scope creep.
    Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
    Ensure that all project management standards and requirements set by the project assurance and clients are met during project execution.
    Ensure alignment and coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.
    Chair and facilitate project meetings where appropriate and ensure that minutes are distributed to relevant stakeholders.
    Ensure that project scope and objectives are clearly defined
    Comply with all applicable SHEQ-INS requirements in order to implement relevant and effective systems throughout the project lifecycle.
    Advise and manage the implementation of configuration management within the projects/programmes.

    KPA 3 Quality and Risk Objectives

    Ensure that all policies, documentation and SOPs are read, understood and maintain competency.
    Comply with Standard of practice, SHEQ and accreditation requirements.

    Perform processes to ensure that the number of minor and major deficiencies amount to less than the agreed amount per site.

    KPA 4 Customer Relations

    KPA 3 Quality and Risk Objectives

    Check equipment to ensure that all instrumentation and equipment is in working order according to SOP criteria.
    Check blood and blood product stock levels, including identifying and reporting of expired units.
    Ensure that all policies, documents and relevant SOP’s are read and understood and maintain competency for the stipulated standard operating procedures.
    Comply with standards of practice, accreditation, QC testing, proficiency testing and safety requirements and contribute to and participate in continuous quality improvement.
    Strive to remain well informed of current developments to promote knowledge sharing as well as to ensure acquisition of required CPD points according to IPA specifications.
    Assist the BB Supervisor with Risk tasks allocated within the agreed timeframes.

    KPA 4 Instrument and Laboratory Maintenance

    Perform Shift Supervisor functions and other related duties when required so as to facilitate the efficient running of the laboratory.
    Perform miscellaneous routine laboratory tasks and other job-related duties when required by the supervisors and other senior staff so as to facilitate efficient running of the laboratory.
    Attend meetings to ensure that relevant information is acquired.

  • Supervisor: Service Senior Process Engineer

    Purpose of Role:

    To ensure uninterrupted service delivery to our customers and maintain proper control of the service workflow from receiving to dispatching, making sure all procedures are followed consistently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    This role requires specialized expertise in diagnosing and repairing high-capacity slurry pumps. A qualified supervisor ensures that repairs meet OEM standards, reducing the risk of repeat failures and extending equipment lifespan.
    Planning and managing service workflow from receiving to dispatch, distributing work accordingly to available staff.
    Ensuring all repairs meet OEM standards and sign-off projects.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    Grade 12 (Matric), N4 certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
    Qualified Fitter / Millwright (Verified Section 13 / 26D qualification).
    Valid driver’s license.
    5 years’ related experience in an engineering/mining environment (Workshop experience advantageous) and 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
    Sound knowledge of slurry pumps (Assembling, Repairs and Maintenance).
