KEY OUTPUTS
Management of theatre stock and equipment charging.
Responsible for stock control in theatre including optimum stock levels, credits, wastages, expired and aged stock, stock takes, etc.
Responsible for orientation and supervision of staff where applicable.
Co-ordinate theatre billing process.
Responsible for the administration of consignment stock.
Responsible for maintaining of Theatre charge sheets.
Ensure client satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Grade 12.
Commercial/nursing qualifications is preferable.
Minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar role.
Previous experience in a day hospital will be to your advantage.
Knowledge of surgical & Ethical products, prosthesis and sutures.
Knowledge of patient administration systems and procedures will be advantageous.
Demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the operational need within the functional unit.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to function independently but also work well within a team.
Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner and negotiate acceptable solutions between stakeholders.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
