    MAIN PURPOSE
    Coordinating and controlling the operation of vehicles in one location according to traffic regulations and MSF security rules and ensuring that the team of drivers perform properly their duties to ensure an adequate, efficient and safe transport of goods and people
    ACCOUNTABILITIES
    o    Transporting MSF personnel and material ensuring their safety.
    o    Supervising the team of drivers and monitoring and evaluating their performance, ensuring compliance with all rules, safety regulations and MSF instructions, as well as the maintenance and service of their assigned vehicles which includes preparing and overseeing the drivers’ work schedule, ensuring daily and weekly checks of vehicles and the correct filling in of administration and vehicle logbook;
    o    Performing monthly checks of the vehicle inventory, documentation and first aid kit together with the responsible driver and conducting a driving test for all new drivers. Performing regular drivers’ assessments.
    o    Coordinating and supervising the associated resources (drivers) and fleet management to ensure adequate service in terms of organizing availability of drivers, vehicles to drive, duty rosters and replacements in case of absence, and fuel control. Organizing training courses for drivers
    o    Checking and ensuring that safety procedures are met in vehicles to ensure that transportation is in the best conditions of safety for travelers.
    o    Reporting any problems with the vehicles (mechanical, accidents…) to the line manager / technical referent as well as preparing monthly reports on services, spare parts, consumption, etc. of each vehicle.
    o    Ensuring maintenance on the fleet of vehicles to be in perfect working order and that cars are serviced at the desired time to ensure good use of it and be able to deliver services.

    o    Looking after all equipment related to vehicles and driver. Ensuring the proper use of radios in vehicles, numbers and codes, according to MSF protocols and procedures in place
     
    MSF has been working intermittently in Tanzania since 1993, supporting MOH in a variety of areas, notably the provision of primary and secondary health care and the response to epidemics such as cholera, malaria, and HIV/AIDS. MSF’s latest intervention in the country started in May 2015 with an emergency response to a cholera outbreak affecting both the refugee and the host populations in Kigoma region. During the emergency phase MSF expanded medical and water/sanitation activities to all three refugee camps in the region.
    Liwale project officially launched in December 2022, Liwale project is an integrated project supporting MoH in Community based, Primary and Secondary health care for mother and child under 5. MSF is currently supporting 7 health facilities including 4 secondary health care facilities (1 district hospital, 3 health centres) where CEmONC are offered and 3 primary health care where BEmONC are offered. This support includes facilitation for recruitment of 102 health care workers including 50 community health care workers, medical supply, empowerment of team (trainings, team management, quality of care improvement), referrals, Watsan activities and rehabilitations.
    Minimum Educational Qualification:

    Essential literacy, driving license and basic mechanic skills

    MAIN PURPOSE
     
    Executing the stock management activities (receipt, storage, and issuance to projects or other departments of medical supplies, food items, spare parts, tools, equipment and/ or other logistics materials), according to the line manager’s instructions and MSF standards and protocols, in order to ensure the overall functioning of MSF activities
    ACCOUNTABILITIES
     
    o    Supervising materials and goods orders and dispatch in order to ensure its rational use.
    o    Receiving orders and deliveries, identifying and reporting potential discrepancies against cargo manifest or others. Stores materials in accordance with the system in force in order to ensure continuous availability.
    o    Updating and/or creating stock cards for all stock items immediately after reception of goods. Checking the received cold boxes and controlling the cold chain-monitoring card
    o    Storing materials in accordance with the system in force in order to ensure continuous availability ensuring that all items are well organised and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).
    o    Monitoring the store temperature and ensuring Cold Chain items are stored in an adequate temperature. Keeping a special control of “sensitive” goods: numbers of lots, expiry dates, packaging and special storage conditions
    o    Preparing orders on time before sending goods, and packs (according to transport means) weighs and labels freight with corresponding shipping number, destination, number of shipping units, way bill number, weight and mode of transport in accordance with the line manager’s instructions
    o    In conjunction with the line manager, performing physical stock counts in accordance with the frequency previously defined. Following up stock levels with regards to alarms thresholds, stock out and expiry dates.
    o    Controlling warehouse limited access to authorized personnel and ensuring doors and other exits are secured. Immediately informing the line manager of any problems arising in the course of the work, particularly with regard to damage, loss, attempted break-ins or theft in the warehouse

    Key Responsibilities
    Harvesting and Processing Operations

    Oversee day-to-day harvesting to processing operations, ensuring that processing operations are running efficiently and effectively. This includes managing the processing department staff and resources and ensuring that processing KPIs are met.
    Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure all QMS processes and SOPs are followed, guaranteeing the highest standards of fish quality.
    Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity by developing new processes or procedures, identifying, and resolving operational issues, and implementing quality control measures to ensure processing output meets the required standards.

    Role summary
    We seek experienced Construction Managers at an innovative tilapia farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering critical engineering and construction projects (with leadership support and technical designs), and maintenance of heavy operational equipment. The role will plan, budget, and execute construction projects, working hands-on with their frontline teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee full construction project lifecycles and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget; manage teams of supervisors, foremen, and laborers.
    Maintain highest standards on safety and emergency response, for all managed teams and projects.
    Physically supervise construction operations by being present onsite.
    Oversee technical and feasibility studies and deliver blueprints that satisfy technical specifications; conduct on-site investigations and planning analysis (e.g., maps, reports, tests, drawings).
    Support material and equipment procurement for projects.
    Lead proactive maintenance of heavy equipment and facilities.
    Assess potential risks and optimize for cost efficiency; pro-actively identify and resolve emerging problems or deficiencies.
    Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials; monitor progress and compile reports.
    Perform other relevant tasks as needed.

    Required qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
    Experience commensurate with role.
    Experienced with handling BOQs and project planning softwares.
    Project management and supervision skills.
    Learning mindset; readiness to take on new projects, execute on processes, and set up a team for success
    Prepare and share updates with management and senior executives.
    Planning and organization skills, ability to independently prioritize tasks.
    A demonstrated commitment to professionalism, a strong work ethic, high standards & integrity.
    Fluency in written and spoken English.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in procurement and equipment maintenance.
