    At least 10-15 years’ progressive experience in accounting, auditing or financial management.
    Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, financial statements, audit processes and internal controls.
    Experience in budgeting, forecasting, payroll, tax compliance, reconciliations and financial reporting.
    Proven ability to supervise, coach or mentor finance team members.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
    Experience with Caseware, Pastel, Xero, Belina Payroll, Adaski Payroll or similar systems will be an advantage.
    Experience in education, NGOs, service-based organisations, audited institutions or multi-entity environments will be an added advantage.

    Explosives Engineers Certificate or any blasting related technical training
    Be in possession of a valid driver’s License
    Be a Botswana Citizen
    Be in possession of a valid Open Pit Blasting Licence
    Must be fluent in both Setswana and English
    Good understanding of the Explosives Act and, the Mines, Quarries, Works and Machinery Act (MQWM) and other relevant legislative requirements
