    Developments, acquisitions and facilitation of regional expansion.

    Liaison with prospective partners in ongoing and prospective group developments and joint ventures.

    Management of existing portfolios.

    Formal reporting to the listed fund and other owners.

     
     
    PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
     
     

    At least 20 years management experience in the property field gained in Southern Africa with experience in all facets of property management.

    Experience in the retail property sector is a must with an established network of contacts with the large retailers in Southern Africa being an imperative.

    Experience of meeting the requirements of listed property companies is crucial.

    Development experience from conception to completion.

    Leadership/organisational skills and people management.

    Dynamic, energetic, results driven with excellent communication and report writing skills.

    Exposure to MDA management system will be added advantage

    To manage incidents restoration
    To evaluate clients’ impacts

    To provide real time information about the impact and restoration
    To lead crisis events (crisis management)

    Handling and acknowledging trouble tickets sent by the Customer Care Centre to

    The Risk & Assurance Coordinator is responsible for providing the operational support in coordinating the implementation of Risk Management and Assurance activities across Khoemacau, ensuring alignment with MMG Standards and site procedures. The role will be contributing to the consistent application of risk and assurance processes, follow-up of action plans, and preparation of reports to support effective governance within MMG.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Assisting in coordinating and implementing MMG’s Risk Management processes across Khoemacau Mine, ensuring alignment with MMG Standards and site procedures.
    Supporting the maintenance of the site risk register, including monitoring control effectiveness, tracking action plans, and preparing periodic risk reports.
    Coordinating and documenting risk workshops, assurance activities, and other risk-related engagements across departments.
    Supporting the execution and monitoring of the Assurance Framework under the first line of defence, including scheduling, follow-up, and reporting of assurance activities.
    Tracking and consolidating outcomes from internal and external audits to support action closure and assurance reporting.
    Monitoring the implementation of action plans arising from audits, inspections and risk reviews with risk and control owners.
    Providing administrative and logistical support to the Senior Specialist in coordinating audits, inspections, and management review sessions.
    Maintaining departmental trackers, dashboards, and reports on risk and assurance performance indicators to support governance and oversight at site and MMG level.
    Assisting in collating and maintaining basic information related to insurance renewals and claims as part of departmental reporting requirements.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance or a related discipline
    1-4 years’ experience in risk management
    Post graduate qualifications, i.e. Risk Management (advantageous)
    Exposure to system-based reporting (SAP, SharePoint, Power BI, or equivalent)
    Knowledge of Risk Management, understanding of mining process. Ideally from an engineering background able to understand and question risks and solutions proposed.
    Understand Risk management methodologies and experience in working with Risk Surveyors.

    1) CHIEF GEOLOGIST
     
     
    BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
     
     
    The Chief Geologist will be responsible for the establishment of a systematic and integrated approach to applying modern methods in the management of geological processes on site in support of a productive mechanized mining environment. You will establish grade control drilling and modelling processes, operational mine geology procedures, systems and processes and lead the Geology department in a collaborative and efficient manner in support of the mining operations.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Developing an efficient and suitable method for Grade Control drilling and modelling of the orebody to ensure timely delivery of quality information to the Mining teams
    Formulating of departmental strategy and measuring in line with the Company plan
    Developing of an efficient and suitable method for Grade Control drilling and modelling of the orebody to ensure timely delivery of quality information to the Mining teams
    Designing and developing of underground diamond drilling programmes as required for exploration, resource conversion to reserve and grade control drilling
    Overseeing the effective management of diamond drilling processes to ensure safe, efficient and productive work from drilling to core management through to updating of information to the geological database
    Ensuring the introduction of relevant and appropriate systems for efficient mine mapping and capturing of mine data through to geological and mine design software
    Ensuring the management of the day-to-day function of the Geology department, in a collaborative manner with Mining Operations and Technical teams
    Driving the formulation of the annual mine geology capital and operating budgets as well as the management of departmental costs in line with approved budgets.
    Managing the development of systems for reporting and reconciliation as needed to effectively manage the performance of the orebody and geological models in line with site and company requirements.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    BSc (Hons) Geology Degree;
    Qualified for QP sign off will be advantageous;
    15 years post qualification experience, with a minimum of 10 years in an underground hard rock mechanised mining environment (predominantly base metals, or relevant gold experience);
    A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Geologist in a production environment.
    Experience of industry processes, procedures, policies and values as relates to geology;
    Understanding of Botswana Mines, Quarries, Works & Machinery Act and the various applicable licenses;
    Demonstrated strength in structural geology, mine operational geology, geological database and orebody modelling, and geology department management;
    Formal professional or technical registration with an internationally recognised Geological Body;
    Experience with a suite of Geological software required for the mine

    14) JUNIOR MINE PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST
     
     
    BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
     
     
    The Junior Mine Production Geologist will be responsible for providing fundamental geological and logistical support to the drilling and mine production programs. The primary focus is on the accurate and timely logging of drill core, sample management, and drill site coordination to ensure the efficient collection of high-quality geological data.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     

    Supporting Mine Production Geologists by assisting with the inspection of underground excavations and the geological mapping of faces, ensuring all activities adhere to standard procedures and SHEC protocols.
    Providing direct assistance to the Mine Production Geologists in the coordination of diamond drill programs, including monitoring drill hole progress, coordinating down-hole surveys, and maintaining drill tracking spreadsheets.
    Ensuring all drill core is accurately logged, sampled, and the resulting geological data is entered into the database in a timely manner to support the grade control and resource modeling processes.
    Performing basic quality assurance and quality control (QA/ QC) checks on core processing and sampling and assisting with contributions to daily and weekly geological reports and production summaries.
    Establishing and maintaining effective on-site communication with drill crews and contractors to ensure safety and production objectives are met, under the guidance of the Mine Production Geologist.
    Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of basic plans, sections, and grade control models by compiling and validating input data as directed.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    BSc in earth sciences or equivalent from an accredited institution
    2-3 years experience in a logging position
    Knowledge of mining software systems
    Experience in reading maps, using a GPS, and driving off-road is preferred
    Productive and capable of maintaining the drill logging requirements and schedule
