    14) JUNIOR MINE PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST
     
     
    BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
     
     
    The Junior Mine Production Geologist will be responsible for providing fundamental geological and logistical support to the drilling and mine production programs. The primary focus is on the accurate and timely logging of drill core, sample management, and drill site coordination to ensure the efficient collection of high-quality geological data.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     

    Supporting Mine Production Geologists by assisting with the inspection of underground excavations and the geological mapping of faces, ensuring all activities adhere to standard procedures and SHEC protocols.
    Providing direct assistance to the Mine Production Geologists in the coordination of diamond drill programs, including monitoring drill hole progress, coordinating down-hole surveys, and maintaining drill tracking spreadsheets.
    Ensuring all drill core is accurately logged, sampled, and the resulting geological data is entered into the database in a timely manner to support the grade control and resource modeling processes.
    Performing basic quality assurance and quality control (QA/ QC) checks on core processing and sampling and assisting with contributions to daily and weekly geological reports and production summaries.
    Establishing and maintaining effective on-site communication with drill crews and contractors to ensure safety and production objectives are met, under the guidance of the Mine Production Geologist.
    Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of basic plans, sections, and grade control models by compiling and validating input data as directed.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    BSc in earth sciences or equivalent from an accredited institution
    2-3 years experience in a logging position
    Knowledge of mining software systems
    Experience in reading maps, using a GPS, and driving off-road is preferred
    Productive and capable of maintaining the drill logging requirements and schedule

    13) MINE PRODUCTION GEOLOGIST
     
     
    BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
     
     
    The Mine Production Geologist will be responsible for supporting the mine operations, to collect, interpret and report on production geology issues, including logging / sampling core, wireframing, modelling, grade/tonnage estimations and reconciliations in alignment with the organization’s long-term objectives.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     

    Ensuring that all core is logged and sampled within the production timelines.
    Ensuring that all underground excavations are inspected during mining at regular intervals and that suitable control is maintained.
    Monitoring material movements accurately through the mine to the mill and take an proactive approach towards minimising dilution and maximising ore recovery.
    Ensuring underground excavations are geologically mapped and data communicated in a standard set by the Senior Production Geologist.
    Proactively participating in geology interpretation including fault, structure, orebody and other geological features and ensure wireframing is completed accurately.
    Providing assistance to the Senior Production Geologist in the management of diamond drill programs, including design, documentation, and coordination of programs and sites, and assistance with contractor management.
    Participating in reporting and communication for the mine geology team, including ensuring the delivery of clear and concise handover documents in the event of absences from work.
    Ensuring that data is collected accurately and that the data is entered into the database in a timely manner.
    Managing ROM pad stocks and routinely reconcile results with mine and mill.
    Assisting the Senior Production Geologist with estimating tonnes / grade, updating grade control model and reconciliation monitoring.
    Communicating with other site technical, operational, support and managerial teams.
    Establishing and maintaining effective communication with all drill contractors to ensure production objectives are met.
    Implementing and adhering to systems, processes and procedures to ensure quality management.
    Ensuring that geological activities are conducted within budget and the cost control framework.
    Complying with data collection standards in respect to both the JORC code and NI-43-101 requirements.
    Assisting with contributions for daily, weekly and monthly reporting on geological activities.
    Ensuring that plans / sections are generated and kept up to date for the current grade control drilling.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from a recognized tertiary institution.
    Minimum 2 year’s post graduate geological experience in an underground hard rock environment.
    Proficient in the use of mine software packages (Datamine and Leapfrog preferred)
    Proficient in the use of Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

    The Senior Mine Planning Engineer will be responsible for providing strategic direction of the Company to maximise returns from its available ore resources producing assets while advancing pre-development projects that offer potential to sustain and grow the business in the long term.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Translating broadly stated company objectives into detailed plans and schedules
    Identifying long-term mining opportunities and developing strategies for their realization
    Ensuring that the medium-term development plan is compatible with the long-term plan and strategy
    Coordinating the mine design and scheduling process through liaising and consultation with production managers.
    Formulating departmental strategy and measures in line with the company plan
    Establishing and maintaining a mine planning system using suitable software, to integrate geological resource models, geotechnical models, survey data, optimized designs, and productivity trends to accurately and timeously plan mining sequences and development phases to meet required production targets
    Providing accurate designs and plans to ensure the mine can meet current and future production requirements
    Overseeing operations to ensure adherence to short, medium, and long-term plans
    Coordinating and reviewing the design of sub-level open stoping blocks and extraction and backfilling sequences
    Coordinating and reviewing the design of mine development and services to support extraction and ensuring that technical and planning information is timeously made available to support mining production.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    Bachelor of Engineering/ BSc Degree in Mining.
    Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an underground mining environment with at least 4 years spent in mine planning and scheduling.
    Experience in various underground mechanized mining methods is essential with at least 5 years’ experience with sub level open stoping methods.
    Experience with backfill, ventilation and underground operational infrastructure requirements.
    Solid experience in mine scheduling and developing a mining budget.

    The Control and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for routine and advanced maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of instrumentation, control and automation systems. The role ensures accurate measurement, reliable process control and high plant availability by supporting PLC, SCADA, communication and field instrumentation systems. It involves performing planned and corrective maintenance work, resolving control system issues and maintaining compliance with engineering, safety and operational standards across all work areas.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of field instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, communication systems, and related control equipment.
    Diagnosing control system faults and troubleshooting plant performance anomalies using PLC/SCADA systems and historian data.
    Conducting system backups, software updates, patching, and hardware/software compatibility checks on control systems.
    Ensuring high-quality programming and configuration of Siemens PLCs and Citect SCADA systems.
    Assisting in programming and troubleshooting of VSDs and fibre optic mine communication networks.
    Supporting the development and executing preventative maintenance strategies for digital control systems.
    Establishing and applying standards for system upgrades, testing, and maintenance in line with engineering and safety protocols in line with engineering and safety protocols.
    Supporting E&I maintenance teams and coordinating SCADA/PLC software requirements.
    Overseeing the work of contractors on the MMG Khoemacau control system, ensuring compliance with Khoemacau standards and procedures for undertaking specific work.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    National Diploma in Control and Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Industrial Automation and Control Systems or a related field
    At least 5 years of experience working as a Control Systems or Instrumentation Technician in a continuous plant operation environment
    Proven experience with Profinet, Profibus network, Siemens PLC’s, Pi Historian, Citect SCADA 2018 R2, and AutoCAD
    Formal certification in PLC programming software is an added advantage

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Enforcing and promoting site SSHE standards, legal compliance and safe work procedures.
    Leading and commissioning of new light vehicles and heavy machines.
    Carrying out audits of already approved equipment for compliance with the ISO standard, contractual agreement or specifications and MQWMA regulations to maintain set standards.

    Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills as well as post-failure analysis on equipment such as Sandvik, Volvo and Normet Equipment.
    Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings and to effectively communicate detailed and complex.

    6) RO PLANT TECHNICIAN
     
     
    BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
     
     
    The RO Plant Technician will be responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and reliability of the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant. The role ensures optimal plant availability, quality water production, and compliance with preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. This includes performing maintenance, membrane and media replacement, PPMs, and troubleshooting to support safe and efficient plant operation.
     
     
    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     
     
    Your key accountabilities include:
     
     

    Performing routine and corrective maintenance on all RO plant equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, dosing systems, and instrumentation.
    Conducting membrane and Maddox (media) replacement, and PPM checks per manufacturer and site standards.
    Executing scheduled maintenance plans to ensure minimal downtime and maximum availability of the RO system.
    Troubleshooting and resolving plant performance issues to restore optimal efficiency.
    Maintaining and calibrating instrumentation and control systems (flow, pressure, conductivity, pH monitoring).
    Ensuring correct chemical dosing and safe handling of water treatment chemicals.
    Maintaining accurate maintenance and performance records, including daily logs and reports.
    Coordinating with the Maintenance Engineer for planning and execution of major maintenance tasks.
    Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture and compliance with all SHEC standards.

     
     
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
     
     

    Trade Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
    Minimum 10 years’ experience working on industrial RO plants.
    Experience with seawater RO (SWRO) systems is an advantage.

    MAIN DUTY: Responsible for conducting essential laboratory and field tests to ensure the quality and compliance of materials used in road construction projects, as well as

    Perform soil grading analysis to determine particle size distribution.

    Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.

    Execute California Bearing Ratio (CBR) testing for subgrade strength evaluation.
